Chile - A nice change after the Pacific Ocean - sorry about the light reflection though, couldn't open the window to avoid it

Arrived safely in Chile with limited Espanol, bought beer and water, had a pizza and a Chop (Pint of beer) arranged a free Wireless connection for 24 hrs instead of Dial up (pays to be a Kiwi sometimes) all of this 6 hours before I left Auckland. Don't you love international date lines !!

They said it was 24 C .. but feels damned hotter than an Auckland 24 C !!!

Just bookes a tour to Valparaiso for Sunday too .. but I had forgotten I will need to be up at 3.30 AM the next day to get out to the airport for a flight to Lima !! Sleep on plane I hope !!

don't drink the water, and remember that at most restaurants ice cubes are made from municipal water too - only excusable time to drink bottled h2o
after having 3 bad experiences with h2o, I even only ate food in those places that was fried or baked (kills the bacteria) - nothing steamed or boiled

or ignore it and just have a great time..:-))

Thanks Bill, I am trying to do what I can to limit anything that may harm me ... the rest I will have to leave to my constituition. I have an amazing record of very few sick days a year at work averaging 1 per year. But that is in good ole NZ where my body is used to everything.
