Founders Park - Nelson

Founders Heritage Park is a replica historic village containing many of the old historic buildings and artefacts of Nelson. It is a relatively sanitised depiction of colonial life but interesting all the same.

Lots of interesting buildings, some cottage industries based in the park (jewellery maker, organic brewer, organic bakery) etc
I was about to have a look at the school house when I see it actually houses a Montessori School with classes going on. I would imagine it would be a hugely interesting place to go to school.
