Hi, I don't know the exact science .. but I can google it later ... you will find it is a common effest in bronze and I think copper to perhaps

Nice work all round Roger, great capture and the bronze work looks good except it looks a bit dull. Did you get to see the MCG ground Roger and is it as big as they say?

And if I brightened up the photo the rainbow effect decreased so I decided to keep the rainbow
