I tried for a sunrise this morning but the distance 30 minutes drive, the fact the gates were locked and the hike to observation points meant I missed the sunrise.

But I will be better prepared next time and there were still a few photos to share

Yes .. partly because I should have heeded the warning sign ... Walking Track turns into Tramping Track ... unfortunaely no shock absorbers left in the knees for the big ascents and descents ...but then at 10 AM I get the call ... "please mate I know you said you needed a rest but can you play cricket today". 9 hrs later my legs (and knees especially are regretting it)
