Bay of Islands - Waitangi Treaty Grounds

The Waitangi Treaty Grounds, overlooking the Bay of Islands, is New Zealand's pre-eminent historic site.

It was here on February 6th, 1840, that the Treaty of Waitangi was first signed between Maori and the British Crown.

A seat to contemplate the waters still muddied after the torrential rains and flooding of the previous day

I LOVE picutes of nature! This is great. Mine that I downloaded today all look really blurry but they dont as pictures...any idea what I could have done wrong? Maybe I have something set too high?

As a Kiwi this represents many things to me, like our history in relate to what took place here as being as mirky as the waters in you shot, from both side of the treaty. It represents the beauty of this place and of Maoridom. It's part of my country that I haven't seen, yet! Thanks Roger.
