I'll pick you up when I swing through New York Maire ... the only problem is that it will be another 5 months before I get back to NZ. But I can let you out of the suitcase for the occasional breather on the way home ... you only have to go through England Sweden Holland Belgium France Switzerland Italy Austria Germany Holland Slovakia Hungary Turkey Greece Italy (again) Spain Portugal London South Africa ... not too much of a hardship :-))
