Ngarua Cave - Nelson

A limestone cave under the marble mountain known as Takaka Hill.

Private land which the owner gives tours through, my companions were a lovely Dutch couple. Can't remember their names but their son was a dentist in Amstredam.

Helmets on because of low hanging stalactites, apart from the owner

People are apparently fascinated by this particular area called Cathedral Cave . people get married here !! and they have had opera singing here because of the great acoustics
