I can imagine that you prefer to take a picture than to climb upstairs.
Looks very, very steep to me, and guess what: our feet are a lot bigger than those of the original inhabitants were, so this makes it even more difficult to climb up...

That would indeed be a major climb....!!!!

I read somewhere that the steps were made that way to force the worshipers to remain in a humbled position (i.e. hands and feet/knees ) while ascending the temple.....
