Summer has past here in NZ, still I braved the elements and headed up to the Bay of Islands for a long weekend.

A long trip was broken up by a stop at Waipu Cove

The sea discolouration was due to the day before which was one of the heaviest rain days in a long time muddied waters continue to flow out to sea. That didn't stop the surfers however.
