Pretty shades of blue in this photo. The barge is equipped for some heavy lifting. I mistook the gull for a flying saucer at first! :-)

Do they still dredge in NZ..we always used to have a barge dredging along the Trent, but never see it any more...Would help to alleviate flooding I am sure....

Joan I am unsure if this is a dredge, but yes , dredging still goes on in some of our harbours.
