the boat in the background was made in Scotland...Its one of the last heavy lifting boats in the world I think and the maritine trust look after it... W.Y. Fleming and P. Ferguson founded the company in Paisley, Scotland in 1877, making marine steam engines...Nice to see they have totally resotred it in the last 10 years..

funny to see a boat made in scotland in new zealand still working years after....the company and the harbour are no more here now....only a small river with no boats really going up or down lol

Great shot Margaret , nice to see something made in Scotland all those years ago I think the boat might have been built in one of Clyde shipyards in Glasgow where the Queen Mary & Elizabeth the Lusitania and the Queen Elizabeth 11 were built ,There is still a Fergusons yard on the river still building ships , might not be the same one ,there are not many of the yards left now
