Great entry Marg, they recently pulled down a lot of old signal box's here on disused lines untill some people kicked up enough fuss to get the remaining one's preserved.

Thank you Pam . Wingatui is the first stop on the Taieri Gorge Vintage train trip, it is approx 10-12 kms from Dunedin. Sadly many railway lines in NZ have been closed but this one is kept open as a tourist destination to Middlemarch, Central Otago.
