I know how frustrating that is.....

since we live in an apartment we have nowhere to hang birds feeders etc - so I have a couple of hownowne friends from church that I visit occasionally

recently I spend 3-4 hours at Lisa's house (no not that one silly - I wish) and had squat to show for it. I got home and she called - the yard was filled with 10 different TYPES of birds...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Bill, I was barely awake this morning. I did remember to take the camera, at least. I missed the female grosbeak because I was too slow. I also missed the male bullocks oriole. They see that camera lens and bolt every time! I think that bird photography is luck 90% of the time!

T, they have a really nice song, too. It was singing away coming into that feeder. That's what made me look.

T, we do have a blind. Same as Zanzess'. I've used it once. The trouble is that it has to be put up and taken down daily because we really only have room for it on the lawn and the sprinklers come on every day now.

doug, I knew this would tick you off. :) I'd like to add to my list of missed shots today....a black chinned hummingbird. This was before my afternoon coffee fix. See...it all revolves around coffee. I just don't get enough of it.
