Lisa, Mossbrae...isn't that one quite a hike in elevation? I might be thinking of a different one that doug and I did out by dunsmuir. The weekend after we are doing Lower, Middle and Upper Falls out by McCloud. Crown Camera has a hike out to Whiskeytown Falls coming up, too.

I don't know what I'm doing right now. We did a 3 hour hike in Anderson River Park yesterday and I'm pooped.

Oh didn't know crown did that. Sounds cool! The mossbrae falls r a 2.5 mile round trip hike along rr tracks. I think I need a sitter tho. Not a good idea to take the boys me thinks. Might not make it

2.5 miles is quite a hike for under about 12. :)

I'm thinking of doing the Whiskeytown falls one. I think it might be with the ranger, although you can do it by yourself now that they fixed the trail. I'd rather have the ranger with me for when we run into the bears. LOL

just one mountain lion? there's gotta be more than one. :) I always I'll take the bear over the cat but I don't want the bear either. :) We've run into those twice since we've moved here and it's not fun. Only run into cat tracks...thank goodness!
