T, no, it's not a redwood. I think it's some kind of Sequoia? The only redwoods you see here are the ones that folks put in their yards. I think those have been bred for yards...at least I hope so because I've seen the redwoods and they get a little big. :)
Redwoods live closer to the coast than I do. They need cooler/misty air. We don't have that here. In fact, our first true heatwave is happening later in the week. Forecast of 42C! You'll find me in the pool. :)
