doug and I got a couple of new lenses today so I thought I would take a picture with the old 300 to show how our toys are growing. Two new pro lenses today. Got the pro macro to replace the standard and a 50-200 pro lense. The focus is outstanding!
lisa, I keep looking at the pool. water temp is up to 82. problem is that the furniture is still in there. doug ran out of time to get it out and he is not here. I may swim among the pool furniture later. LOL
nope..no fisheye. I needed really good regular stuff.
Cooler, my first digital olympus was a 3030Z. . My current camera, the E3 is fabulous. I love it. The auto focus is so fast and the amount of fps is great!!! Yes, I am an olympus fan. I've even made my hubby a fan since he gets all my hand me downs. :)
Wow, very impressive!
Congratulations on your new toys ;-D
(*moan* - I wouldn´t mind having just half of your outfit)! :-)
I really have to *get to it* and buy myself a DSLR. I´ve been meaning to do that for much too long.
The small point-and-shoot camera I´ve got now, really is a hindrance :-(
Oh well...
Oh wow! It is a bit addictive LOL! I have the same sort of thing ..and I carry around everything in a huge back pack that weighs a ton! Looks like a nice kit here ;)

Butterfly, yep, my backpack weighs a ton, too. I had a backache last time we went hiking. Doug carries a backpack, too, so we have a ton of stuff we are lugging everywhere we go. I need someone to take a picture of us when we are out with all of the gear. You all would laugh!
Bill, looking forward to the bird sanctuary pictures. it's always fun to go to those.
it's too hot here right now to go anywhere. We are staying close to home, the air conditioning and the pool. :)
Mouth watering stuff. You love Olympus don't you. I can understand brand loyalty. After you invest in one thing it makes sense to stick to the brand. Lenses match etc. Dad has loads of film cameras but they're all gathering dust (only an expression they're lovingly preserved in their boxes), such a pity they're dormant. Well digital is less expensive to run as a hobby so, all hail the new digital kings!
zunkus, you hit it on the head. My very first digital was an Olympus 3030zoom. It still takes great pictures. When my husband purchased my next digital he got me an SLR.
Of course, he stuck with Olympus. Then I started buying lenses. :) Can't switch brands when you have that much invested in lenses! I'm up to an E3 at this point and loving it! :)
