Doug and I are getting the itch to go somewhere. Summer is usually too busy and hot around here so we pretty much stay put. I ran across this shot of Mt. Lassen that I took last Sept. I love the way this mountain and Mt. Shasta get their hat rings around them. This is the back side of the mountain. A really pretty park that has fires going on right now. :(

I can imagine that it is a lovely place to visit. The clouds on the mountain's top are really funny.

During my stay in USA in May/June it had already a lot of fires all around.... ;~((
