The history of the Turkish honey '' LOKUM '' The production of the Turkish honey began approximately 400 years before our time during the increase phase of the Ottomans Empire. The Turkish honey was former only a product of the palace ,but became in a short time a sweet which the people pleased and later produced itself. An English sailor was the first who brought this famous Turkish sweet to Europe. LOKUM is a sugar mass from strength syrup, protein foam and gel with pistaccio,coconut or almonds and nuts in square bits, It is prepared warmly in turning boilers.
