Yes. I still remember after these years how she looked when she wore those costumes.:-)

It amazes me that a foto taken in 1912 and 1898 for the other has survived this long without proper storage.:-)

How times change.....clothes, everything. So good to hear they are important in your life. Imagine their life.....no tv, no computer, no electric shaver.............etc.
I guess they had a radio and/or a record player.
Not such much traffic in de streets.
Macfudge, you live in the US, could you read my last upload? I am curious what you think about the South. I lived there 1958,1959.

We left Holland on my birthday in 1953 and I have been here ever since. During the early 1960's, while I was in the US Navy, my parents and sister went back to Holland on vacation. Cathy ( Ineke) worked in MIami Beach for 1 year and moved back to Holland. I stayed here and raised a family. I visited Holland in business while in the computer business for Wang Laboratories. I still talk with my sister weekly via SKYPE. It is just like being there. It is now December 20 and I just closed all my windows because it will be cold - 22 C - tonight LOL . Cheers!:-)
