Thanks. I used my Canon T3 with a 250mm lens and a set of extension tubes. I have a macro lens and several other pseudo macro type items like reverse rings and couplers but I always get my best shots with the telephoto lens and the extension rings. I found that morning is best time to get these shots as there is more activity in the garden and the lighting is good.
I was hoping to catch a good shot of a bee or butterfly and have never seen one these in my garden so I was excited when I saw him sitting on my Easter lily and he was patient enough to pose for me.
