Took my hubby on an adventure to Cabela's today for his birthday last Saturday. The store is huge and is more like a museum, containing a "gun library" (which I didn't go in, I plopped outside in a big fat leather easy chair, just like those husbands in the malls)...also there is an arcade, conference rooms and a great restaurant where we had nummy fish & chips!

There is a tourist trap Cabela's here in Michigan's southeast corner, close to Ohio. But plans have been in the works to turn a few hundred acres of old apple orchard into a Cabela's super-duper attraction mecca right here in my very own city. I imagine it would be a huge economic booster.

I like the wine ;+) but hte ice water & lemon sounds really good too! It's been rather warm here also although it is cooling off tonight :) I hope summer has finally arrived and that nature isn't just teasing us!

I wondered about that :) We spent hours in here, perusing all of the arms, hunting & camping stuff etc. I even got some spice and a couple of beer can chicken racks to go in the bbq... Great place to go.
