I think this is the world biggest waterfall, right? I wish I'll have the opportunity to see it with my own eyes one day.
"...The falls are, by some measures, the largest waterfall in the world, as well as being among the most unusual in form, and having arguably the most diverse and easily-seen wildlife of any major waterfall site..." Wikipedia
Bojtorjan.... not the highest...... but the longest it is so beautiful...
we went in dry season..... August... and it was still thundering....
wildlife....yes..... baboons and monkeys...
specially the baboons... there are lots... we took a little road
and came among the nursery.... where the ""Ladies"" just had babies...
or very tiny infants.... they just sit still on the walkway... we gave them a big berth..
sidestepped.. took no photo's did not want the flash to upset the mothers...!!
but it is engraved on my mind....the way they sit together tending the little ones...!!
the monkeys.... :-)) well naughty...!!
the other animals.... in the area... go on game drives.... or a boat.."sundowner"
boat trip on the Zambezi.. or the chobe rivers.... that was heavenly.....
Elephants.... crocodile.... hippo.... birds.... birds... birds.... and kudu...
aghh.. about all Africa have.. you will see in that area in a matter of one week...!!
Either ... Botswana.... Zambia....or Zimbabwe.... I think Minz will know that
area far better than myself..... we were there only for one week... but the best
memories... thinking of it... I even feel sad.. so lovely it was..:-)
Senna.. we have not been to the Niagara Falls...
but this has a fantastic atmosphere....!!! If you can go see on google earth....
i think 1 mile !! you will also see the rivers... chobe... all on the northern
border of Botswana.. northern border of Zimbabwe.. southern border of Zambia..
" die rook wat donder "" the 375 ft ..high..
Beautiful waterfall. I grew up right next to Niagara Falls so I guess I just took it for granted. These days I wish I had been into photography when I lived so close. Guess it means I'll have to head home and visit the folks.
