What sort of birds are they?

Kiewiet.... "Crowned Plover " keep to open grassfields....
is a noisy bird... !!
this pair normally had 2 babies... and only one will make it to adult hood
that is why we are so worried about the three hatched ... we just hope they make it..
sadley the one was caught by a ""playfull "" dog... and broke a leg...
we just hope it will survive to adulthood...when it can fly....:(
