Lovely entry Liz. . . .My Brother went to CBC in Silverton . . is it still the Jacarandah City? - so many beautiful trees get the chop for housing estates and then Joe Public is called upon to plant trees and save the planet...a vicious circle. . .

Natascia....seem to me you have rreally travelled a lot in the world...
yes we also did a bit of traveling but our kids live in other countries...
Jacarandah City....Yes...and this year it was very dry summer...sadley...
we hope we might get 'n bit of rain in the winter months with the cape..!
the chopping of the trees....sadley ...yes... all these complexes shooting
up we also live in a complex...and hope for a bit of safety...:-)) you would understand..!

Ahhhhhhhhhh allmost feel the worm and wet air of this GREAT city !!!!!

"The beauty of Pretoria"

Great picture Liz.
I have never been to South Africa but we have plans (in the early stages so far) to go to J'burg and Kruger National Park. Would be great if we could make it!

Freda....Cape Town is our mother city.....so beautiful...we have travelled a lot in South Africa.....I love our Nature reserves...our wild animals...we only have a bit of a rain problem this year....!! wish we had more rain...
Freda...if you want to and have the means...please visit Botswana...the Chobe area.....you will never be sorry....also very near the Victoria Waterfalls...it is a Haven for any photographer...lots of Elephants..!!!

Ive never heard of any of these places Liz...i think you must have made it all up ;o)

ThorBeverley.....I love KrugerNational Park.....if you can do it in the wintermonths......July/August/September/October.....winter/spring...beautiful...
Kruger National Park is our pride and joy....
all our National Parks....is worth it...!! I hope you can make it...you would love the wild animals in their natural habitat...!!!

IIm not going to the travel agent to ask them about your imaginary places Lizzy...they will look at me like im on drugs ;o)

You better watch out....we will be LHR on Sunday the 20th.. about 7 o'clock..
and then we will travel on the couch to the Victoria Busstation. later on...
to travel further to Preston....I got a £1 ticket for the bus....!!~
and my husband has the £6 ticket....we travel cheap....!!! I might sit on the rooofrack of the bus....but what do I care....:-))
So I will take crayons and draw a picture on the walls in England of Africa...
so there...you will see there is such a place as South Africa...:-))
Our airoplanes of SA has a flag on the tail....and it is SAA..we even got our own aeroplanes...we have cars here as well...!!!

How is y travel?

we will start our travel on the 19th of May.......8 o'clock next saturday...
we will be on the plane.......on Lourens's 2nd birthday..
but I hope to be on internet...and will keep in touch with my FT friends...
