Yes Hans; it is a great place to explore, the walking track down to the beach is an adventure in itself, especially going back up, then a walk along the beach for approx. 400metres and then you come across this massive hole in the rock cliff face, only to find that there is another one just a little further on, and they are connected. Don't mean to play it up too much, I was impressed, everywhere has their marvels.
We chose New Years Day because the weather was to be at it's best for the time I had off work, apart for a bit much wind the day was very good to us. We saw in the New Year and were up again at 6am, (5:45 in my case), and on the road by 7am and returned to my place in Mosgiel at about 7:30pm and approx. 400kilometeres, (and as many captures for my part), later, after stopping to visit friends. A very satisfying day.
Hello JonAt; we can be seen in this capture (address below), with Rainbow71 and Yellowgirl on their recent holiday in Dunedin; if you can handle it. :-)
It is very rare to be caught in front of the camera; willingly anyway.
