Thank you for your comment Peter, my first reaction was the same, even though I knew what it was, I too thought it looked like a tornado, it is in fact a spent vapour trail.

Wijine, I'm not sure what a waterhoos is, but I am guessing it is a waterspout; and fortunately it isn't one of them either, it is a spent vapour trail.
