We have had “a bit of rain” over the weekend; this is the Leith Stream that runs through the Otago University area of Dunedin.
This is looking down stream but it looks like this wave is running back upstream; I think this is caused by barriers in the stream to take the speed of the flow out of the water so it doesn’t cause damage.
