We stayed a B&B in a country town called Beverley in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia last year.
This gelding was running around his paddock and getting himself into a real lather because a mare that usually shared the paddock with him had been moved to another paddock, and he could still see her but couldn’t get to her. Talk about an anxiety attack, he was having one.

Beautiful horse...it's a wonder he didn't jump the fence...

Marvellous entry John but I don't like his distress . I am sure he would have settled down eventually .

Yes he did settle down after a period of time Marg.; and he came to no harm. He had a good workout and worked up quite a sweat. The mare was moved because she wasn't eating properly, although to me she looked in very good condition.

Thanks Joan. He ran up and down the fence line, stopping and turning very quickly, kicking up the dust.

Thanks for the comment Peter; he was being very expressive at the time too.

Thanks Hunju; he was very much alive at this time, I guess he would have needed a rest afterwards.
