do horses always lay down when it' s hot ? I already saw a little one do this, but I never knew they always did it !! :o)

I'm no expert Sterretje, but I guess all animals feel the heat, I have seen sheep and cattle laying down, more so when it is hot. Horses are one of many animals that sleep standing up, so it is unlikely this horse is sleeping. I think it is just another way that horses rest.

Beautifully taken...lovely moment, yes horses lay down on the ground when it's very hot and there is no shadow :)
