The change in the autumn leaves comes later than I am used to here in Western Australia. It is officially winter and the leaves have only recently changed and have been dropping.
This is a path to our back lawn under all these leaves; I guess I will have to sweep them up. There is more detail in the original view, please take a look.

You are right with that Joan, they are called 'Paper Trees' but there are still trees that lose their leaves here too.
These are from a very large 'Cape Lilac'
The Red Tail Cockatoos just love the berries from the Cape Lilac.
