No I haven't gone soft, as you put it, Shirley, before the sun comes up and some time after it goes down it gets cold here at this time of the year. When people talk of how cold it is, I just tell them I'm from Dunedin, and this is not cold, I know what cold is. I start work between 5-6am Cuz, it's still dark here; the sun is still busy trying to kick start New Zealand then. :-)
