The skeleton of the unfinished and abandoned Intel Building ( as in "Intel Inside" computer chips ) in downtown Austin, Texas was sort of the poster child for the bad end of the "dot-com" boom. The structure was used for various things, including a dance performance where the dancers swung on ropes suspended from the structure and rappelled from floor to floor, but in the end no one knew what to do with a semi built building.

After being an eyesore for several years, Sunday morning the building was demolished by explosives to make way for a new courthouse. Here the first explosives have just detonated
