i actually planted some seed when we first moved here to SE Pa. and they took - about a dozen came up for several years, but it was so funny . . . the plants would break ground in July and blossom in October :-)

I do miss the bluebonnets here is Kansas. Most of our highways right of aways are so steril. Though they have begun to seed some of them with wild flowers. The last year I was in the Austin area around the time you post this picture and it was not a good year a guess or they had alright past there peek.
