Hi.... I'm LisaSam67s mother and kimbob's aunt

This is a CASSIA DIDYMOBOTRYA (popcorn cassia)
It is a native of Africa. I got the seeds from a family friend after I had seen the plant in a garden nursery in Apache Jct., Az.
The deer do not bother it.
What I like is that at dusk the leaves fold up and close.

Thanks. Nice to meet you. The Hayward, CA paper, The Daily Review, printed a picture of this "popcorn" plant. That was March 15. I was very disappointed that they did not use color as they had with everyone else's pictures. Oh well. Lisa is still posting my pictures.
