I remember back than I lived in Europe/Austria. When I arrived home from school my boyfriend (now my husband) called me from Canada and asked me to turn on the tv.
I was watching "live" when the two towers collapsed. It was a nightmare... I couldn't believe it and a didn't want to believe it!!! ...... I just cried ...... :o(

that's about what we did too.... just a terrible thing to realize it was really happening

Yes I remember it too. I was in Ft. Know, KY then. Yes that's where the Gold Vault is.... And chaos started once we figured out what was going on and all the units went active with live rounds. Then it got real.

ya I remember that whole week well goofeyroofey.... the towers fell... my cat died mysteriously.... my foster daughter's dog disappeared... my dad had a stroke.... we couldn't get my family out of NYC till the following week.... was such a hard time....

How can anyone forget.
I was in my office, and heard something on the radio. I immediately turned on the television in our office and the first thing I saw was a plane flying into the tower.
That entire day, no one did any work in the office.

ya it is.... i remember almost everything my relative said on the phone as i came out of sleep to her phone call... kept thinking there was just no way she was serious till i got the tv on finally and saw the second plane hit.... what a time in our lives....

oh John I think we must have tuned it at the same time.... what a trip

i was in cafe at work we thought it was a movie till second plane hit and it hit home it was all real and not hollywood :))

I myself remember ... and will never forget...
Just not believing what I was hearing, just wanted to believe it was some kind of a hoax, but reality sunk in when second plane hit the towers..
I was then glued to the tv for days... It was very hard to concentrate as I hated to leave my post by the radio while at work. Worst part is being filled with the feeling of sadness for all this human loss,all inocent victims and heroic volunteers, feeling lost as what could you do?? IT is real madness for someone to mastermind this and madness to actually do something of this magnitude... I could go on and on... but the only thing I hope for is that this never happens again.

I was sitting in a car and they said on the radio that there was terrorattacks in Usa!!
I had gooseskin all over my body, and then when i came home i looked at the news and i could not belive my eyes...

Good moorning dear, and around the world, we will never ever forget this...

I remember the day as it if were yesterday, the Army base we lived on at the time was put on lock down, we were called to the school to pick up our son, military police had to escort all the parents into the classrooms, there under the desks were all of our innocent children crying and scared.

ya it was a terrible day... my 15yr old foster daughter has two relatives that work in the CIA buildings in Virginia and it was so hard on her... we were at least able to talk to my sister in law in Manhatten briefly on her cell phone but she couldn't reach her family in Virginia.... she was just beside herself with worry.... it must have tore your heart out to see the kids like that! so little and not knowing what was happening must have been so hard on them....

11 of september became an international day when all of us think to peopels who lost theyr laife without have any ghilty for anithing! is sad , and i allwayse pray in my maind to all that peopels, nice of you to post this work here, corina

i know this feeling from many years agow, from december 89 when so many romanian peopels loose theyr laife for us to live in a democratic country and free of comunism, but day by day im asking my self if they didnt dai free:(
