However, the news of the eagle succumbing is soo sad.
We have so few of them, and they are such magnificent birds.
It does anger me that some idiot with a gun robbed us of one of these wonderful birds.

Well, you've done this beautiful creature great justice in capturing him like this, birdie. I'm sorry to hear he didn't make it, but that being said it would also have been a shame if he were unable to fly again and spent the rest of his days grounded...this gorgeous bird is meant to fly. I'd like 5 minutes with the bastard that shot him...just 5 minutes.
