I'm looking at them side by side too - and the difference is not noticeable from more than a foot or so - my screen is only +/-1 on correction so...... :-))
This one is less sharp than flickr.
Is this one >550 pixels on the long side? I believe FT shenanigans come into play if you restrict full size viewing and it's >550 pixels.
I remember 550 being the magic number... I didn't resize this one and I've unlocked it so it's not restricted viewing anymore... wondering if there's a difference now or not
weird weird weird..... i'm looking again and I can see an intense difference in the oranges and only a slight difference between this one and the original.... totally bizarre LOL oh well
FT's 550px version of *this* version is definately soft (compare the reflections on the right of the image).
I believe the only way to keep a 550px image unaltered is to only upload 550px.
I could be wrong.
Generally, unless running output for pre-press or others, use sRGB for a colour space. I made the mistake of shooting AdobeRGB for a whole trip and everything looked OK in some places (which handled colour spaces) and poorly in places where it didn't.
