Lensvision's Fotothing

This belltower is in the city of Kampen. Every year they have what they call Kamper Ui days. The cow hanging from the tower (don't worry it's a fake one) is part of a historic story.

There was grass growing on the tower and the people were thinking about a plan how to get rid of it. Someone from the neighboring city of Zwolle suggested they send a cow up there to eat it, so they tied a rope around the cows neck and pulled it up. You can imagine what happened.
The story doesn't say how they eventually got rid of the grass.
