Midsummer bonfire...
Every year..on June 23rd - midsummer, we light these big bonfires many places in Denmark. We put fire to burn the witches - as you can see in the picture...but in the "good old days" it was real people, who was burnt. Usually it was just some poor women, who acted a little different from other people and therefore they got burnt in the fire...poor women.
But nowadays we only burn dolls....
