a breathtaking scenic view of Mantigue Island of Camiguin... and mind you the fine white sand is same as Maya Bay (THE BEACH movie of Leonardo di Caprio shooted) in Thailand and a good for snorkeling too.... they have one kind of coral which is as large as the room size.. when I saw it.. I thought it was a whaleshark, I was really shocked!

Reminder: This is an isolated island... no water nor electricity but people living here are very accommodating and ready to help you... the island has a small school (Elementary) with only 3-teachers 1 teacher for Grade 1&2, 1 teacher for Grade 3&4 and 1 teacher for Grade 5&6.

Going to this Mantigue Island takes 15minutes ride of small bangka (pumpboat) for Php500.00 (roundtrip)...

How do you go there. Does Camiguin have an airport?

there is airport but for private planes only in other words.. you have to drop by Cagayan de Oro Airport and proceed to Agora Bus Terminal bound for Balingoan Misamis Oriental where the ferry for Camiguin is waiting....(just ask the Bus driver that you are going to Camiguin,lol)
