LA CATRINA is a main character from Dia de los Muertos. MEXICAN DAY OF THE DEAD .

is a festive and colorful holiday, a total contradiction to a gloomy and morbid tradition in Poland.

This work is a part of La Catrina exhibition by Roberto Duran, powered by Mexican embassy in Australia

Roberto’s invitation has been the most interesting group project I was in since years.
Grotesque, danse macabre and fantasy, kitch, surrealism – suit perfectly my portfolio.

Roberto has chosen 12 digital wizards from around the world to enchant the basic photographs.
I’ve made couple of Arianna portraits and a surreal group portrait made of 16 basic photographs from his stock and my own as well.
