a herd of living in the wild European bison (wisent) in Poland
I visited my family and had some luck this time to take a picture from a distance. Soon they will hide in the forest and won't be easily seen by people.

Hans, it really is. I've seen them few times in my life, but never such a big herd. They have something majestic about them.

well, almost. some stupid city photographer was going for an easy picture and was chasing them off their place (getting too close to them too quickly)
You don't disturb them in the winter time, they loose too much energy. They are protected in Poland.
