hehe :) i'm standing on a crossorads again... take the second dog? or not? ... a puppy? or a asylum dog? ...
tough choices .. :)
do I want the responsibility to continue? ...
:)
Yes I know, i took two asylum cats..one of them was so abused and beaten by humans..i had to get him to the vet and do some surgery and he got meds for being nervous and selfdestructive..it took me one year..to get him back into normal, and not to be afraid of everything...BUT he dosent like changes..so, when I got divoreced i had to leave him..And i miss so much having my cats around me, but I cant just get a new one for that, because with that it comes a lot of responsibilities again..and I work too damn much..
yeah... I know it soooo much...
have that too...left with one dog and one kid...(hmmm... did i say it wrong? one kid and one dog? and the friends? weekends when they camp at my house?... ) ah... ok, i think I need that puppy :)
and then I think few more years and I'll be on my own again... ON MY OWN???? well, I like tha thought of it ... so I shouldn't take more responsibilities.. .right?...??
since Sarah went away on her trip to doggy heaven and I remember working so damm hard to nog to get attached to her all those years... well, it didn't work and I feel stuck sometimes...
haha..one dog and one kid...
That's right...its Your own time ahead..make the best of it..and then, you
might see that..well, a dog is whats best for me.
I just told my sister that WHY on earth is the first thing she does to get a new DOG, when she has so much plans for travelling and stuff, and work a lot too..
She said, i dont see a dog and that as a problem, or something that would prevent me or us from anything, i see it as a possibility and will try to make the best out of it..
it it's a small dog (or not so big dog...) get it a dog passport and you can take it with you almost anyway in the world... :)
and if you want a friend... get a dog :)
it's just that I only like BIG dogs and not just one... so I should stay with the one I have maybe..??
Do we even need men? LOL
Im afraid of horses..and I also like big dogs..and cats..
I need to stop working to be able to take care of the animals i want..
I grew up with a farm..horses, sheeps, pigs, ducks, chickens..
I think you should sta with the one you have for now..let the future be
unspoken for a while..
I grew up with animals... and yes, I got educated as a farmer :))) hihi...
but I think I will go with what you say ... it's what i think is the best ... shouldn't just look at the puppy pictures :)
You know what I do when the need is the most, I go to the shelter house, where I once got one of my cats. Its a independent organisation that have it..so everything to bring and give is a huge plus..I go there, its close to my house..and stay for some hours..there is a lot of cats..and lot of needs..But somehow, doing and helping out a little, please me and mind.
This is an excellent idea! I already told my vet that if she needs help I will volunteer... but that is waiting for somebody else.
I never thought of going to our local asylum to offer help - I can imagine as you say that it helps both ways. And there are always people needed to help with the animals.
THANK YOU!
yes to your foto 20yrs ago...:-))
yes to you so cute then & now..:-))
yes to you love affection then & continues..:-))Mirka..:-))
yes to ME .......................you.....:-))
Oh so sweet Mirka! The love is flowing and there is beauty! Don't worry too much about the future, it has a way of taking care of itself I think..God Bless! -:)
Well I read all of your chat with Suzanne and I also spend time at the local cat rescue, they love people to spend time socialising with the cats, so that they do not become stir crazy and go off human contact. Please give it aga, you can only do good for yourself & some lucky animals...
Thank you Doody for your comment. I will definitely do it.
My dilema was that my little dog suddenly lost her companion, she never knew the life to be different than with her big friend (Irish Wolfhound and small labrador mix), but then again I don't really need extra responsibility at the moment...
Maybe I could agree with the shelter house to take some of their dogs for a walk, or simply help with whatever they may need help with. I think it's a great idea, thank you.
ah Suzanna and Kaska... how much I loved your chat about pets....
makes me feel better as well... Kaska... I know... we want .. actually crave for
a pet.... small dog or cat for me.... but noooo... we travel too much.... so sad...
and what helped me a lot the other day... a lady... they had a garage sale..
she has beautiful garden animals... I ask .. why not get a dog or cat... she said
no... it is like having another child at this age.... and will not be fair to a animal...
those words also helped me a bit.....
here fore I have tears in my eyes... for I just love cats and dogs as pets....
Mirka... what a beautiful spontaneous photo
and I could not help but laugh.... dog and kid... :-)) bitter sweet comment..:-)
