Joe. That bike reminds me of the one I learnt to ride on at Emil. I used to ride it with my leg through the gap under the crossbar as it was way too big for me!

Hi Mike - I learned to cycle the same way, under the cross bar and this was a skill in itself as it was much harder to balance the bike this way.
