Yes,Grimp, I had those too. I prefer the down bar as they are a more solid gear change.I have a new MT bike and they are one touch on the handlebars.

This was in a 10 day International cycle race around Ireland, covering 1,200 miles.

WOW...NICE MEMORY...MY GRANDFATHER USED TO RIDE BICYCLE TOO...

I used to train with Sean Kelly Lensvision. When we started to cycle there were 2 cycling bodies, and I was in one , Sean in the other.I live a few miles from Sean and still see and talk to him regularly.He is a nice guy and has a lovely family.
