Traffic jam........... these are great, bringing back some memories of a lovely day out on Inishmore a few years ago. Were taken on a tour of the island by Daniel in a minibus. One of the stories he told us was that the film "The Quiet Man" was filmed there; we believed him - until we discovered he was completely wrong!

Well The Quiet man was filmed a short distance away from the island. I will be posting some pictures of this area, in a few days time, the pictures will include the house used in the film and the Quiet man bridge. Some of it may have been done on the Island as well.

Thank you Beus, this was taken on the Aran Islands off Galway. That is Moira and Catriona in the far off pony and trap. This was holidays 2006.
