Manuka is a native of New Zealand and is generally found in the bush but some can be found growing in local gardens. The flowers are very pretty and are very attractive to the bees hence the beautiful Manuka Honey produced here. In the past the wood was used by the Maori to make amazing walking sticks but it was also used as fuel as it is good burning. 02.12.08
