Lynn...thank you so very much my dear friend....I purchased this plug in for my photo program....still don't know how to use it but it's fun to play............
Iajsalarvand...thank you so very much....the bearded iris are so beautiful....I also played with this photograph in photoshop to highlight the edges......
Sayalio...thank you so very much my dear friend...this is one of my favorite flowers in the spring....we recently moved to a new house so I'm thinking of planting some of these by the post box....
Maurabia....thank you so very much my dear friend....we took a drive and I saw these beautiful Iris and had to photograph them...one of my favorite flowers...
Soldier...thank you so very much......it was a plug in that Lin found for me on the net and it's the first time I've used this on a photograph of one of my favorite flowers.
Bellavista...thank you my dear friend....I quite like bearded Iris but I also used a Photoshop plug in to accent the edges of the plants......I was quite thrilled to see the results.
Glenn..this was my attempt at being a bit artistic with a photograph...I'm normally one that just takes a photograph, but this time I played with a plug-in I found........
Cooler..thank you so very much...normally I try to get good photographs so I don't have to do very much with photoshop and sometimes I go over the edge with photoshop...this was one of those cases....
Martini..thank you so very much...I was playing with this new filter I got off the internet...it created a nice glow around the iris in this image......
Andrew...thank you so very much....I have to admit that I used a filter to highlight the edges of this presentation....I wanted to create a more dramatic visual.....I'm so pleased you liked the photograph....
Ganet....Lin (linnywv) and I went out on the limb and bought a very good Canon telephoto lens and this photograph was taken with that lens at full zoom.....it creates a very good depth of field....I really like that effect.....
I think it was worth it for such good results. My camera doesn't have a removeable lens but it seems to take decent macro shots. I have a kit lens for my new Canon camera but I'm hoping to get an adapter from Ebay to be able to use 2 pentax lenses (telephoto and wide-angle) which my husband, Pete had for his SLR camera 25 years ago! They have been gathering dust but are good lenses so fingers crossed.
Jan....If you can find an adapter for the old lens it would be great...some of the older lens were much better quality I believe....I have some very old lens from a Canon film camera that I've thought of doing the same thing...
