NightOwl...thank you so very much...this was a photograph I took many years ago with my first little Kodak digital camera....it will be many years before I'm able to take as many photographs with my new camera as I took with that little camera.

Ganet...thank you so very much....this was one of the first digital photographs I took...I only had a little Kodak point and shot camera...which I still carry in the automobile...I used photoshop to convert the photograph to black and white..........
Jmcdh..thank you so very much...."Garden of the Gods" in Colorado Springs is a very beautiful place....this photograph was taken with my first little point and shoot digital camera and I converted it to black and white with photoshop.
Ganet...thank you so very much....I often convert many of my photographs to Black & White....I like the way they look and they print quite well....I bought some photographic paper specifically designed for Black and White...but it looks just like matte paper to me....
Ganet...you are far too modest..I've seen most of your work you've submitted to fotothing and it's magnificent....ironically this photograph was taken with my first little point and shoot Kodak camera....sometimes I think I might have wasted money on the gear I have now....(Laughing)...
Jake - you're too modest! You have such enthusiasm for photography it shows in all your photos. I agree with you about the photos you can get from basic cameras. I really mean it when I say that most of my decent photos are 'happy accidents'. Like most things I do, they usually turn out ok but I can never work how that happens? It may not surprise you that most of my friends think I come from the planet Zog! (lol).
