Cooker socket - a stunning bit of installation work.
I opened it up to see if it had a feed for a cooker. There wasn't even an earth!
(Bear in mind that this socket represents 30% of all the electricity in a Brit house. 45 Amps is a nasty sting, kids!

The plug holes don't look substantially different from those on a regular 13 amp socket, except maybe the two current-carrying prong holes are a bit narrower so a regular plug wouldn't fit. Over here, high-current plugs are entirely different from "normal" ones, both in shape and size.
